We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this bed and breakfast. Excellent accommodations. The house is beautiful and the view of the ocean is spectacular. The bed accommodations were great; we slept peacefully. The owners are very friendly and cooked a delicious breakfast for us. We went on walks down by the beach, on a nature trail by a salmon creek and through lush greenery. This B and B is located in a pleasant small town, Chemainus with quaint shops, friendly people and an easy drive to larger cities such as Victoria and Nanaimo. We will be returning to this B & B again.

More than a home away from home, with its location that overlooks the ocean, the beach literally 20 steps from the front door. This is one of those places that revitalizes the soul, from the minute you wake till the moment you let the day go. I had the best sleep I had in months, the worries just seem to fade with the ocean breeze. The house itself is like it was built for royalty, love and detail put into every part of it, from the tall ceilings and large windows to a bathroom with a shower you could easily spend your whole day relaxing in. For me the house, quiet and peaceful; the location, beautiful and rejuvenating, and the town of Chemainus, honest and humble, was a dream getaway that filled me with more energy than I had before. And it was incredibly hard to say goodbye at the end of the weekend.

I rented Eagle Rock as a vacation rental and can truly say this is the best lodgin on Vancouver Island and I would love to go back. It is very cozy and has nice garden area with an ocean view. I was quite impressed with the quality of the furnishing, absolutely everything was top notch. It is a short walk to downtown Chemainus but away from all the loud night life. I really liked being only steps from the private beach.

You know what you expect in a B&B experience - an exceptional bed, warm, inviting surroundings and a first-rate breakfast. Of course you get that at the Eagle Rock but there is so much more. First of all, the place and the grounds are immaculate. Everywhere you look they've made sure to keep things in the best condition. Full use of the parlor adjacent to the bedrooms is really a plus. The bed was outstanding and we truly enjoyed sitting at the beach enjoying our tea watching otters, whales and eagles. What you do get that you might not expect are afternoon tea and occasional wine tastings. Jim brings in local winery representatives that share their expertise and wines. Eagle Rock offers the charm and romance of a bed and breakfast but with the amenities of an exceptional hotel. For people looking to transition from the hotel experience into the better Bed & Breakfast experience, this is a great place to start the journey. We really enjoyed the warm hospitality, great people and beautiful surroundings. Eagle Rock is one of the best B&B experiences I've had and I would recommend it to anyone.

When I first walked in, I was overwhelmed! It is so warm and charming, beautifully decorated - fabulous!! The pictures on the internet did not do it justice! The ocean was just steps from our room and the grounds are beautiful. It had a beautiful garden area with a firepit, pergola with ocean views. There was a creek only one block away that you could hear from your room that is surrounded pine trees, arbutus, and was very private. Every morning after breakfast we walked along the beach and salmon creek sipping on our Champagne and OJ. Jim and Katrina were always very courteous, helpful, knowledgeable and fun to talk with - they totally made us feel at home. Excellent service all the way around! They gave us great recommendations for dining out and helped with many of our other plans in celebrating anniversary. I am very fussy when it comes to accommodations and this one totally exceeded my expectations. I usually stay in hotels - but this experience was far better than any hotel I've stayed in. You will NOT be disappointed - absolutely fantastic!
